Gulf & Northern Trading Corporation (“GNTC”) is a leading master distributor of stainless steel flat and long products and, through an affiliated company, Amerinox Processing, is a full-range processor of stainless steel and aluminum flat products. GNTC sources stainless steel from a variety of domestic and international suppliers and distributes to most of the leading metal service centers in the United States and Canada. The Company offers a wide selection of stainless steel flat and long products and can process metal to virtually any size or finish. The Company’s one-stop sourcing and processing capabilities combine to provide its customers with all their stainless steel needs met by one supplier.
GNTC offers its customers competitive prices for both standard and custom sizes, on a spot basis, thus removing price risk. The elimination of market price risk is an invaluable tool when coupled with the just-in-time delivery of value-added processing. The Company’s competitive pricing and reliable delivery under all market conditions is an attractive benefit to small and mid-tier service centers. The Company believes that this combination of capabilities has made it one of the preeminent Master Distributors of value-added stainless steel flat products in North America.
GULF & NORTHERN – Leading Stainless Steel Distributor
The Company has developed a strong reputation as a master distributor in the stainless steel market based on a 15+ year history of sourcing and delivering high quality metal at competitive prices. GNTC offers a variety of stainless flat and long products, including coil, plate, sheet, flat bar, pipe, and both round and square tubes, each with a multitude of finishes.
GNTC’s customer base comprises most of the leading metal service centers in the United States and Canada, including nearly all of the leading service centers located east of the Mississippi. The Company does not sell to end users, avoiding competition with its primary customers.
AMERINOX PROCESSING – Full-Range Stainless Steel and Aluminum Processor
Amerinox Processing is housed in a 150,000 sq. ft. industrial building located in Camden, NJ. Amerinox’s processing capabilities include hot and cold rolled cut-to-length lines, coil-to-coil wet polishing, blanking, shearing, and flat bar production. Amerinox’s hot-rolled processing line can level up to 1/2” stainless coils, exceptionally flat and up to 520” in length. The coil-to-coil polishing line can polish widths up to 63” and gauges up to .187”. Amerinox is currently installing a 48” light gauge, coil-to-coil polishing line. The Company processes virtually all grades of aluminum including marine grades (Grade 5086 H116) which are difficult for most processors to level.
Experienced Management Team
GNTC’s management team has extensive experience in the trading and processing industry and has built a strong platform for growth. The Company’s five senior managers have approximately 100 years of combined industry experience and have all been with GNTC since or near its inception.
